A Divine Appointment

The origins of Agape began in an unlikely fashion. While driving her kids to school one day, Jo Markham found a radio broadcast that would change the course of her life, and the lives of thousands.

OUR MISSION

Agape Women’s Clinic exists to demonstrate and share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ by providing practical help and loving support to those facing an unplanned pregnancy.  

Agape Women’s Clinic is a pro-life pregnancy resource clinic that has been serving Round Rock and the surrounding communities since 2004.

Our History

2002

A Steering Team began preparations to open Agape.

2002

2004

Agape’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was led by Congressman John Carter and our doors opened on February 11, 2004.

2010

In 2010, Agape completed a major building expansion project.

2016

Agape became medical and began having nurses on staff each day.

2016

2017

2017 was the year Agape purchased a mobile unit. It was also the year that protestors began to target us.

2017

2021

The Texas Heartbeat Bill was passed and Agape began to see a greater number of abortion-determined women.

2021

2022

On June 24, 2022, Roe v. Wade was overturned and our client numbers continued to grow. We also began offering STI testing.

2023

Agape hired its first Director of Men’s Ministry, brought male volunteers on board, and launched the REALMen Fatherhood Program.

2025

On January 6, 2025, Agape Women’s Clinic opened its second location in Cedar Park and began serving even more men and women in the community.
