How is Agape Women’s Clinic funded?

Agape Women’s Clinic is registered as 501(c)3 and is 100% donor funded. Because Agape does not take any state or federal funding, the services at Agape are only possible because of the generosity of the community.

Do you charge for any of your services?

All the services at Agape are free to our clients.

How long are clients eligible for services at Agape?

Agape provides limited medical care to women early in their pregnancy and then refers them to a doctor who can provide long-term medical care. The educational programs and material assistance at Agape are available throughout pregnancy and up until a baby’s second birthday. In addition to providing women with physical, emotional, and spiritual support, Agape tries to connect women with community resources so they will have the support and care they need long after their baby has turned two.

As a pro-life organization, What do you do when you see clients who want to have an abortion?

While our hope is for each of our clients to choose life for their pregnancy, we understand that we cannot make that decision for them. We provide our clients with medically sound, fact-based information about abortion as well as information about alternatives to abortion. Our goal is to equip women with the information and resources they need to make an educated and life-affirming decision for themself and for their unborn baby.

What do you do if a woman comes back to you after having an abortion?

Sadly, this often happens. Many women come back to us after having an abortion, telling us they are filled with regret and that they wish they could change their decision. When this happens, we give them a space to process their grief, and we also point them to the forgiveness they can find in Jesus.

Since you are a Christian organization do you provide women with opportunities to go to Bible Studies or talk about spiritual things?

All the care at Agape is permission-based. Before having a spiritual conversation with a woman, we ask if she would like to have one. It is only after she tells us she would like to have a spiritual conversation that we have one. If she is not comfortable with that, we move on. As a part of our parenting education program, we offer Bible Studies. Attendance for those is voluntary, as is attendance for all our classes.
